Cortisone shot

Eric got his first ever cortisone shot today. Outside right wrist? Why? One word…Kubb. He injured it in the end of November cross training for the 2013 season. Physical therapy, chiropractor, and rest all helped, but it did not allow for playing kubb.

When he went to a hand doctor on Friday, he brought a Kubb and Kastpinne to show the doctor what he needed to be able to do. When he mentioned the game and asked the doctor if he had heard of the game, the doctor’s response was, “Oh yeah. Of course. I read Volume One.” He gave him his kubb card and will be teaching him soon. He saw the same doctor today. Thanks Mayo!
